Spiritual Tire Selection!

Psalm 25:4-5 “Make me to know YOUR ways, O LORD; teach me YOUR paths. Lead me in YOUR truth and teach me, for YOU are the GOD of my salvation; for YOU I wait all the day long.”

Spiritual Tire Selection!

Tires are manufactured for
multiple reasons.
For seasons and pavements,
of asphalt and dirt.

So the tread matters most for
which “road” you’ll be traveling…
With both pros and cons as
to which will “drive” best.

Now suppose you were told
Speed was only the focus…
…and suppose such decisions weren’t made with eyesight.

Then if Speed valued highest,
you’d “look” for a tire
with smoothest of surface to
not be slowed down.

But the Truth finds your choice
to be less than sufficient for
“off road” selections and
rocky terrain.

So we must be observant and
first know such facts.
Else we’ll quickly get stuck or,
at best, found off track.

Therefore, as we walk, our
eyes must be wide open;
No gaze just in part and no
look without purpose.

So steer with the LORD! Place
the wheel in HIS hands! Then
wherever HE leads, you’ll get
there…right on Time!

As HIServant seeing Life’s vast roads with all its potholes,
cracked pavements and off-course wanderings and trusting HIM through and on them all,

Devotional: Matthew 8:26-27 “You of little faith,” JESUS replied, “why are you so afraid?” Then HE got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was perfectly calm.

27 The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the sea obey HIM!””

What path or road, what street or avenue, what course or off-course then is there…which won’t obey HIM?

The answer is…NONE!

Simply put, there are countless paths with rough, smooth and unknown terrain. There is no choice we can make that will be perfect for every day.

We’d have to be always changing tires for the different places HE sends us. BUT GOD!

Through sunshine and rain, through trial and trouble, HE gave us JESUS CHRIST…for all our travels.

Thank HIM then WHOSE hands deliver us to each and every location…right on Time!

Amen and amen.
