Pointing to the Road Less Traveled!
Hear! The mocking
of CHRIST never
died for the scoffers
passed on all their hate
with each lie;
Now ridiculed by
multiplied angry
voices…who the
devil yet speaks
through today.
Whose words then
are heard when
you’re speaking?
Even if you believe,
does CHRIST’s love
reach their ears?
Or into conflict
does your speech
direct…any sinner
who’s listening —
with questions?
Purge my heart’s
errant thoughts
and this tongue
then!
Yea, LORD! May my
words be found
few yet anointed!
Then YOUR Truth
shall be spoken
with boldness —
compelling
…till those lost lay
down each of their
swords!

Devotional: Philippians 1:14 “And most of the brothers, having become confident in the LORD by my imprisonment, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.”
Paul was imprisoned for sticking to The Truth.
Westernized CHRISTianty largely knows no compelling and as such, tempers every word so as “not to offend”.
Does one’s eternal destiny mean so little that we’ll adulterate the LORD’s unwavering call to repentance?
Till it becomes merely a one time suggestion and then we’ll just sing songs?
“Seeker Friendly” was a seemingly inviting term which has sadly devolved as one burdened with compromise.
Again! “Repent!” was the original message from CHRIST HIMSELF!
HE gave this directive for a fracturing and removal of sins’ chains with a whole changing from one’s former direction.
This is the “road less traveled” because of the offense, the attacks, the hardship and earthly loss.
But GOD! It’s also where the heart and mind are truly “unshackled” and not placated with soft sounding lies.
Proverbs 12:22 “Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who act faithfully are HIS delight.”
So as we preach to the Lost, do so with boldness and firmness embedded.
For no worse message can we deliver than one which leads souls to just be “lukewarm”.
