Pursuing HIS Wisdom for Healing!
There are healers HE’s sanctioned who’ve often delivered what GOD had intended for vessels of faith.
There are others HE’s warned of whose goal is for gain illegally gotten…to own all the praise.
Thus these parties – dividing
are far from aligned.
One is lead by YESHUA,
the other…their pride.
So discern with HIS scales
those seen who “give help”
and be found trusting CHRIST WHOSE ways grant us best health!

Devotional: Luke 4:22-24 “And all spoke well of HIM and marveled at the gracious words that were coming from HIS mouth. And they said, “Is not this Joseph’s son?”
23 And he said to them, “Doubtless you will quote to me this proverb, ‘“Physician, heal yourself.”
What we have heard YOU did at Capernaum, do here in YOUR hometown as well.’”
24 And he said, “Truly, I say to you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown.”
Despite JESUS publicly showing HIS supernatural power, the doubters and scoffers often challenged HIM…
…to perform “one more,” at their command, to prove HIS message. (John 2:18; 6:30; Mark 8:11; Luke 11:16).
They knew of the others HE’d done and were trying to provoke HIM to do just as Satan demanded. “…’If you are the Son of GOD, tell this stone to become bread.” (Luke 4:3)
So when people claim to be healers yet no healings come from their “touch”, then do they have GOD’s anointing?
The easy out is for the healer in question to say, “Well, you just don’t believe enough!”
I have seen some very faithful and also desperate people praying…with great fervency.
One dear friend was a quadriplegic for decades and countless people, equally faithful and perhaps more so prayed for him.
He passed away in 2025 and never saw the healing he and so many others had sincerely and faithfully prayed for…including myself.
I’ve seen people not even prayed directly over…get healed.
Going back to my friend’s example, we prayed diligently over him for decades and he wasn’t healed. Here, that is.
What then? Is GOD faithful? Absolutely. Is GOD a liar?
Not at all. HIS sovereign timing and will supercede our own, amen?
So what does this have to do with, “Physician, heal thyself!”?
I submit that we must continue to press in and faithfully believe that HE will heal even in the midst of our ongoing suffering.
HE is our only, sovereign Hope!
So I submit, pointing the finger at myself most of all, that we cannot lose hope nor give up on it because of Time’s passage.
I submit that Mary and Martha prayed that JESUS would heal Lazarus their brother with great fervency and urgency and yet he still died.
What am I getting at?
That GOD had a sovereign plan and! HE always does. Lazarus was part of HIS object lesson to all who observed.
Lazarus was appointed to sleep (seen as death to everyone else) so that when CHRIST raised him from the dead, many would believe!
So I want to be found, in the midst of my pains and those of my family when they suffer healthwise…
I want to be found believing for the next hour, the next day and so forth until HE heals according to my prayer or HE takes us home!
FATHER GOD, we come before YOU asking in faith for the healing of the saints. YOU know our prayers…
…and needs before we even ask so we request that YOUR will and purpose would be abundantly clear to us all.
Least of all do we want to be found praying against YOUR perfect will and sovereign purposes!
So move mightily in the hearts, minds and bodies of YOUR children today to grant us wisdom and insight to understand YOUR ways.
