Eternal’s Praiseworthy SAVIOUR

Job 33:28 “HE has redeemed my soul from going to the pit, and my life shall see the light!”

Eternal’s Praiseworthy SAVIOUR

LORD JESUS, from this miry pit
please draw me farther, further;
this hole which trapped my hopes
within and caused me feel unworthy.

I beg YOU grant this portion — me, Yea! Freedom’s Kiss with blessings. Until this chasm far away be found replaced with Resting.

For this deepened, dark depression
was by human nature formed.
And! By HIS grace alone withdrawing do we stand in CHRIST — restored!

Then when HIS Hour enraptured comes, we shall be loosed from bondage…to never fall again in sin! Praise GOD…just as HE promised!

As HIServant and HIS psalmist ever thankful for eternal life,

Whitney

Devotional: Lamentations 3:55 “I called on YOUR NAME, O LORD, out of the lowest pit.”

How many times this soul has also felt at its lowest point! On so many, perhaps countless occasions, I have cried out in frustration, desperation, confusion and even anger.

But GOD! We see the light because HE chose it to shine in our hearts. Else we would remain blinded and as unseeing as those who do go down into the pit…and never return.

Psalms 40:2 “HE lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; HE set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.”

It is awesome to experience HIS grace and uplifting…multiple times. What bliss! Even so, the soul agonizes that it, like Paul cried out, will loathe itself “the next time” it falls into sin’s pit.

Therefore what rapturous Joy is ours because HE lives, rising up from the dead to give us eternal life!

Yes, what Peace beyond all understanding overwhelms us for we know that one day, our ROCK will set us upon HIMSELF and never again will we fall into the pit, needing rescue!

So we eagerly await CHRIST’s return for us with Joy exceeding and Zeal unmatched! This, Freedom’s Kiss, is given us by YESHUA and that glorious day is drawing oh, so near!

Praise HIM, oh my soul! Praise HIM for HIS calling us FROM the pit end with us standing on Heaven’s shores!

Amen and amen!
