HIS Intentional Lack

Psalm 18:2 “The LORD is my Rock and my Fortress and my Deliverer, my GOD, my Rock, in whom I take refuge; my Shield and the horn of my Salvation, my Stronghold.” CHRIST is all!

HIS Intentional Lack

Who needs no touch from GOD? It is the “self-sufficient” soul…where one’s thinking solely sees what they “have done”.

These will only share the credit by compulsion…with a pride ignoring even their CREATOR.

Though blinded by darkness, they claim perfect vision. Though boasting aloud, they are running with Ignorance.

So when pitfalls trip them and all hopes have scattered, when wealth and their health fight to stay above water;

Then shall come the Floods of Despair till downtrodden are those whose contempt accepts all except HIM.

Although they will know in that instant — their folly, there will still be no rescue nor options for help.

Sovereign truth shows we desperately need every touch from the FATHER of Light WHO designed us to love.

So our lack is made whole as HE planned it to be when we fully surrender all credit to CHRIST.

As HIServant with daily trials, tribulations and lack seeking HIM,

Devotional: Philippians 4:19 “And my GOD will supply all your needs according to HIS riches in glory in CHRIST JESUS.”

This verse proves that GOD intended, after the fall of Adam, that we would have lack in this life to overcome. It’s part of the equation planned before Time itself.

So when we claim to “fill in” for CHRIST because we didn’t get something we feel we “need”…there is an underlying doubt of HIS abilities. As though HIS promise to sustain us failed.

Such is a dangerous, slippery slope to walk on while saying CHRIST is insufficient.

Reality proves that what we “don’t get” is something HE feels isn’t a need, isn’t the right time for or another one of a host of reasons which are perfectly and sovereignly made.

Thus GOD introduced Lack when Adam
and Eve sinned. Those who fight surrendering to HIM then will face a similar lifelong, painful battle.

So the real question is do we believe and rest in this truth…or allow our old nature to constantly fight it with a fleshly sense of fairness and justice?

Now HE deserves all the honor, credit and glory, doesn’t HE? So why boast of your efforts? Why highlight the good HE presses through you…as though you generated it? Why put your name ahead of HIS as if HE’s our sidekick, co-pilot, occasional friend, etc? Why?

I see the very existence of my problems as an exact example of WHY we need HIM so desperately. How many times has it been sad that if everything was perfect then no one would need CHRIST!

So to whichever level of challenge he draws each of us through, it is transforming us to be wholly reliant upon YESHUA, our GOD and KING!

So regardless of my desire for less pain, let alone no pain, HE has instead planned a unique path of both trials and triumphs for each of us.

Then, as Paul stated in Philippians 4:11, “Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.”

In summary, we should rest and be content as Paul, in whatever position HE sovereignly chose for us to be in.

We must embrace that HE is transforming our souls to be more like HIM. So, woe to all who say there is fault in HIS continuous workmanship of our vessels.

Ephesians 2:10 “For we are HIS workmanship, created in CHRIST JESUS for good works, which GOD prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them!”

In kneeling down with reverent surrender before our CREATOR, HE removes those things which would prevent our accomplishing said good works. Therefore, woe to any who pick up and reapply those obstacles!

Be humbled then, oh my soul, and remain ever emptied of such evil additions! Amen and amen!
