Everywhere Timeshares

Psalm 31:14-15 But I trust in you, LORD. I say, “You are my GOD. My times are in YOUR hands. Deliver me from the hands of my enemies and from those who pursue me.”

Everywhere Timeshares

Sacrificially taking away
from another has nothing to do with material gain.
Thus stealing ones’ time
through the theft of Attention…brings Consequence right to the doorstep of Crime!

Thua the world’s ever present demonic distractions wage war on our senses, subtracting our strength…
to defend both our steps and The Way which is CHRIST. How blatantly subtle their acts of Unrest!

Yet HIS gift is far greater than than all of this chaos! GOD’s power is displayed through the weakness of Self…
where each moment living is given
to JESUS; devoting our time all to CHRIST as is fitting!

Therefore! Pardon me, Friend,
should my “theft” of your moments
while reading this page leave you unchanged…at best.
Unless in agreement since you be found fighting the very same war!
Then! Our time is…”Well spent!”

As HIServant and your fellow soldier in CHRIST,

Whitney

Devotional: Colossians 4:5 “Behave wisely toward outsiders, making the best use of your time.”

We must seek HIS face through each hour and prioritize HIS path far above our own. “Best using our time” then closely follows this pattern. The Joy of the LORD is ever present and filling WHEN we press in to partake of CHRIST’s presence…ignoring the demonic voices of Boredom, Apathy and Complacency.

I tell us both that there is nothing more important than walking hand in hand with The LORD. Absolutely nothing more important!

Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 “There is a season for everything, and a time for every event under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot what was planted.”

There is time set aside for work, for resting, entertainment and the like. But notice the words “set aside”. Such as “offset”. Different from the “main” time, if you will. This goes back to my adamant claim that we must view our worldly tasks as things which either fit into our prioritized, daily Christian Walk…or they don’t happen.

The antithesis and opposite of this reality is that we sacrifice the time allotted to focused devotions, church services with deeper messages than Sunday school, prayer with others and fasting. What usually gets “rescheduled” in your world? Sadly, I’m learning that more and more immediately cut time with GOD…with little to no resistance.

Hebrews 11:32-34 “And what more shall I say? TIME will not allow me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets,

who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and obtained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions,

quenched the raging fire, and escaped the edge of the sword; who gained strength from weakness, became mighty in battle, and put foreign armies to flight.”

“…who gained strength from weakness,” HIS power comes through our weaknesses and the list of vessels used by HIM is endless both in past time and at present. That’s sacrificially taking away time from worldly activities and personal gain…to surrender all the more so for CHRIST!

1 Timothy 6:12 “Fight the good fight for the faith; take hold of eternal life that you were called to and have made a good confession about in the presence of many witnesses.”

This is the word of our testimony! Very recently my precious wife was given, by GOD, six pages of study and encouragement for our family. She’s not a writer so being overwhelmed by HIS compelling, she wrote it down and shared it wonderfully.

Thank you, Sherry Lynn Jasnoch!

Her subject was overcoming satan and those who accuse us with the Blood of the LAMB AND the word of our testimony! So we must take TIME to study and know HIS WORD as it is our only weapon.

Consider JESUS and Michael only quoted Scripture back to satan. They didn’t boast of personal power but repeated sovereign words from the Bible. From “memory”!

Therefore! Memorize HIS WORD and sacrifice every worldly activity if it hinders any of your time with the LORD. Games, sports activities, hobbies like cars, boats and countless other distractions… all seem center stage in many a Christian family. Kids sports, pickup basketball, softball, etc.

Even under the banner of “church activities”, these must be done in restricted moderation. Fellowship through sports is fun…BUT it is NOT deep biblical study so as to daily eat meat and grow FROM drinking milk only. The diet that exists today is nearly exclusively milk and in some instances, watered down at that.

So as Sherry encouraged our family a few nights ago, read the WORD! Memorize it! Cast off the dross in this life and empty your refrigerator of biblically “skim milk”!

Start walking through the meat section of the Bible and ask questions. Learn! Grow! And teach others to do the same for many sit in ritualistic services week after week.

They are lulled to sleep with bellies full of lukewarm, watered down daily liquid. They are unaware of HIS coming and the prophetic signs happening daily. They have no sacrifice of time available to do anything other than their obligatory, once a week “filling a church pew” activity.

Beloved, press in! The Hour is short and we rejoice that HE is so near! Thus with every moment we have remaining, serve relentlessly surrendering all your time and attention to CHRIST!

Amen and amen!
