Transition’s Point!

Matthew 5:16 “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your FATHER in heaven.”

Transition’s Point!

May every good work which YOU planned for this pen

be extended through ink upon canvas.

May then I be emptied past Residue’s presence

and dry by the end of each pamphlet.

Every page and each book which YOUR SPIRIT compels…

may it flow through stained liquid or graphite.

Whether typed or inscribed, or scrawled thoughts in my mind;

may each stroke glorify JESUS CHRIST!

Thus Transition’s Point marks our crossroad of Faith

where transmission lines clearly are drawn.

So these blessings HE authored flow through for your profit

to lead to HIS WORD…above all!

As HIServant pointing every attention to HIM,

Devotional: 1 Corinthians 12:5-6 “There are different kinds of service, but the same LORD. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same GOD at work.”

We all have been given gifts to serve the Body and ultimately the LORD, above all. Whatever our service, we are not to do so with our personal branding.

If our intentional outpouring causes people to follow us on Facebook or Twitter or wherever AND NOT SEEK THE LORD THEMSELVES…then we need to redirect them to HIS WORD. The only words which truly and ultimately matter in this life!

Again to quote Matthew 5:16 “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your FATHER in heaven.”

In the series, the Crossroads Trilogy which HE gave me to write in 2004, I felt the urgent need to pen such instruction. “The ultimate goal of these words”, I wrote in the prologue, “is to lead you to HIS.”

If one poem or devotional you read of mine causes you to stay in HIS WORD, mission accomplished! Stay there! No need to follow me at all, JUST CHRIST! Consider 1 Peter 4:10-11 as the perfect summary.

“10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of GOD’s grace in its various forms.

11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of GOD. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength GOD provides, so that in all things GOD may be praised through JESUS CHRIST. To HIM be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen!”

Serve and follow HIM exclusively so others see HIM exclusively in all you do, oh my soul!

Amen and amen!
