For: Given Grace!

Philippians 2:3 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves.”

For: Given Grace!

Does knocking one down make another stand stand taller?

Shall such sabotaged actions unhindered — prevail?

Do their “Victories” proclaimed ever fade — overusing

deplorable tactics? Please tell me they fail!

So the cry of a great many hearts have been joined

for the Justice of CHRIST to be witnessed first hand!

For HIS throne room on earth to be presently seen

with our conquering king bringing judgment to man!

But this life holds no glory near that which is Heaven…

for the scales of Fairness cannot balance here!

Thus to seek Compensation from Life’s fading faces

will only result in such deficit Fears!

With the other cheek turning, move then into praise;

Needing not “the last word”; thus uplifting HIS NAME!

With Expectancy greater than Life, stand surrendered…

awaiting GOD’s favor on those who give Grace!

As HIServant gratefully forgiven,

Whitney

Devotional: Romans 12:18 “If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.”

Why is it that people in general gravitate to arguing over points that they cannot defend? Instead a generous helping of subtle digs, mid level contempt over differing opinions, then building into louder boasts, peer posturing, and ultimately, blatant conflict.

Now let’s add “Christian discussion about the WORD” to the mix and it takes an ugly turn for the worse.

Introduce intimidation by “verse-casting”. (select “somewhat in and out of context” passages). Welcome to superiority administered through comments of “I’ve been a Christian longer”, “studied at a better college”, “served on this or that group at higher levels”, “haven’t done what you’ve done” and on and on.

All over chapters and verses where there are differences of opinion and where GOD doesn’t make the topic clearly one way or another.

THEN! Add to this people who misquote scripture, tie-in other unrelated verses as though Gospel Truth and you have an ever greater as well as obvious miscarriage of Biblical Justice. Consider Ephesians 4:2.

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”

I bring this point up as my wife was recently “attacked” by a “well meaning Christian who wants to make certain no one is deceived by people (such as my wife and I) who are claiming the Rapture is real.

Scripture that I can be absolutely sure of is GOD’s Grace, HIS sovereignty…and the Rapture. But…the onslaught of “love” outpoured by these “have to be right” Christians is very saddening. Isn’t it?

It should grieve each of us. It should tear at our hearts especially in this late hour before HIS return. When this world is horribly judgmental, spewing hatred, despising both the unborn life and all Christians as if we are the Darkness!! But we are not! We are chosen Lights reflecting CHRIST JESUS!

So three more verses to seal to your own heart and to take to heart daily! Psalms 51:17 “My sacrifice, O GOD, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, GOD, will not despise.” James 4:10 “Humble yourselves before the LORD, and HE will lift you up.” Matthew 5:7 “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.”

So be endlessly humble, share unmeasured mercy and relentlessly give Grace just as CHRIST…our example!

Amen and amen!
