Yet our thoughts contradict what is known…as flesh oft claims some portion of HIS finished work.

Thus staining Perfection, Self’s error exposed…finds structures degraded, decaying and worse.

But the LORD is our builder alone;

No other hand or separate will has formed our souls!

Within our hearts transformed, HIS HOLY SPIRIT lives! Then found broken and contrite, our frames are whole!

What an amazing vessel the human body is! What intricate structure, what perfect completion, what unparalleled life we are in HIS image!

The promotion of man integrating with super technology to create superhero’s, even “gods” is so prevalent these days.

Such intentionally borders and overwhelms the banks of a “cool story” in order to promote transhumanism.

“Transhumanism is an international philosophical movement that advocates for the transformation of the human condition by developing and making widely available sophisticated technologies to greatly enhance human intellect and physiology.”

Simply put, the world rejects CHRIST’s image in which we are made and touts brazenly that man can build…better.

Popular series like the Avengers are filled with cyber-engineered super humans who will “save the world”.

It’s so ingrained in current thinking that having technology prosthetics, like IronMan and such…is highly desirable by today’s younger generation and those equally off track who are older…but not wiser.

Bottom line: We were made in HIS image and adding to HIS image is like adding our efforts to HIS Cross and finished work. Heresy. False. Even satanic.

These superhero’s most often display their trust in themselves and no mention of CHRIST is ever seriously mentioned. In fact, any reference to our SAVIOUR is sarcastic, demeaning, disparaging and even demonically driven.

Take the “body augmentation” sales pitch since implants began. “Look better!”, “Look younger!” and the list of self promoting lies extends beyond the ridiculous.

You are complete as the unique example of HIS image! What the world calls “incomplete” or “disabled” or “handicapped” are all distorted labels meant to detract from how GOD sovereignly made each of us.

Ephesians 2:10 “For we are HIS workmanship, created in CHRIST JESUS for good works, which GOD prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

So jump off the world’s transhumanism band wagon and rest wholly in the BUILDER’s hands! Our CREATOR — CHRIST!!
