With Mirrored Light!

1 Peter 1:16 “Since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

With Mirrored Light!

The presence of Sin’s stain

grants us sight into Self —

with an unwanted view

meant to turn us away….

from such paths labeled “Wayward!”

which lead us off course!

“Oh that we had reflected

on “Trust and Obey!”

“Oh! If we had well listened

instead of back-sliding;

in place of “off wandering,

would that were found true!”

Said the soul left behind…

who ignored the LORD’s calling.

So I pray as HIS mirror,

CHRIST’s reflection draws you!

As HIS mirror though clouded and flawed yet pressing onward, reflecting CHRIST,

Devotional: 1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as HE is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of JESUS HIS SON cleanses us from all sin.”

Ever see your reflection in a pitch dark room? Yeah, me neither.

In like manner, there’s NO reflection of GOD in the absence of HIS Light. At the least then, we have to be in HIS WORD daily so as to reflect HIS light.

Remember Moses after his second 40 day fast came down the mountain with his face glowing…from having been in the presence of GOD for so long.

So we are destined to intervene! The longer we discipline ourselves then, with continuous study of HIS WORD, then our Faith’s glow will be seen!

Isn’t that the same glow that the Lost long to be led by? Isn’t that the shine we long to see in ourselves, representing our zeal in pursuing CHRIST JESUS?

So in your own mirror, SEE and BE the reflection that is CHRIST! Then as HIS mirror to all others, HIS glow will be transferred to light their way!

Amen and amen.
