Praise ye The LORD!
“Confess me!” shouts Sin
given GOD’s holy pressure…
WHOSE SPIRIT’s indwelling
permits them no rest.
No peace helps their horde
because GOD is our Victor…
WHO sent HIS SON — JESUS
to cleanse our own blood!
Thus Self’s stains — removed
since HE left HIS deposit.
Secured to that Day when
Redemption arrives!
So LORD! Move in me;
crushing each Sin’s “revival”
till heard its surrender…
and then! All YOUR praise!

Devotional: John 16: 5-11 “But now I go away to HIM WHO sent ME, and none of you asks ME, ‘Where are YOU going?’ 6 But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send HIM to you.
8 And when HE has come, HE will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 of sin, because they do not believe in ME; 10 of righteousness, because I go to MY FATHER and you see ME no more; 11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.”
The HOLY SPIRIT convicts of all sin and the resisting unbeliever will suffer both eternal pressure and pain.
So “no peace helps their horde” yet HIS HELPER comforts us! The HOLY SPIRIT communes with our spirit, reminding us to flee sin and to rest in HIS Righteousness!
What praise is due HIM, oh my soul! Even now as you wake…
