The Mirror of Forgiveness!

1 John 2:12 “I am writing to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven for HIS NAME’s sake!”

The Mirror of Forgiveness!

HE calls to Forgive

and our enemies — bless

yet so often we’re both…

as someone named “self”.

Bad choices, though past,

oft rekindle corrections.

with prices so heavy;

still pressing us down.

Yet the stains of the flesh…

CHRIST paid for in full;

HE forgave our Self’s sins

crushing all of its weights.

In like manner, we read

then: “Forgive one another!”

Both brother and sister

and Self’s own reflection!”

As HIServant transformed by HIS

Devotional: Colossians 3:13 “Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the LORD has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.”

 Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool!”

Luke 17:3-4 “Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”

* Have you turned to the mirror, my friend? Have you looked into the face which the LORD GOD of all personally created? Your own?

** Have you stared into your own eyes and seen HIS wondrous, compassionate gaze in return?

*** Have you finally forgiven yourself after years of sincerely repenting over any and every past sin?

Acts 10:43 “To HIM all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in HIM receives forgiveness of sins through HIS NAME.”

And why must we confess our sins and then in our daily walk with HIM, confess HIS NAME before others?

So that they can be set free as well! So that their weighty chains will fall off before their own eyes!

Psalm 86:5 “For YOU, O LORD, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon YOU.”

Confess HIS NAME because HE confesses yours before the FATHER! As such, we are blessed with Romans 8:1

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in CHRIST JESUS!” Victory!

In JESUS! Forgiven — Forever!

Amen and amen!
