Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen!”
Undoubtedly Joining!
Doubt is like a shadow cast yet which has no light source. It clings both to the ground and the soul with a darkened ferocity…unyielding even to others, just as shaded.
As a low hanging mist, it ensnares the feet…causing delays of Faith and paralyzation of Hope.
From the gutters it snakes itself around both ankles and eyes; both tripping up and blinding hearts from the very Truth! Our GOD rules; our bGOD reigns…and HE has no equal nor peer!
Doubt then is only given life because ones’ eyes pause to reflect upon it. Given such hesitation, it takes advantage of the indecision and coils around the throat of its victims.
But GOD! HE is our Light Source WHO has no shadow. CHRIST our LORD is Heaven’s beacon, drawing each wave-tossed vessel back to the shores of Glory!
There, embedded securely and eternally on The ROCK, is HIS lighthouse illuminating the world with Sovereignty’s presence.
With HIS footprints then evidently displayed in these sands of life, and HIS handiwork also in view without question, what manner of soul is the one who rejects such perfect facts…in favor of Doubts’ instability?
Spoken MOST to this “too often wavering raft” of Self, so I lift my gaze upwards to the Heavens from whence comes my SAVIOUR!
With the mountains on high which sing the praises of their CREATOR…so let us doubtlessly join in their song with great zeal!
As HIServant secured in HIS heart; singing thankfully,

Devotional: Jude 1:22 “And have mercy on those who doubt…”
Amen and amen to that statement, yes? The Unseen and the Unknown are two of the largest sources of Doubt. Their depths are bottomless and their lengths are equally measured.
Matthew 21:21 “And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.”
What a verse! Yet our flesh still points to countless examples and “fill-in-the-blank” variables where we truly felt we doubtlessly prayed indeed…yet didn’t see our prayers answered.
At least not how or when nor to the levels we expected. I’ll come back to this point in a minute. Continuing on then with HIS WORD….
James 1:6 “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.”
As written in the first part of this offering; “Spoken MOST to this “too often wavering” raft of Self…”; we must not constantly condition our prayers with such unstable buffers.
For instance, we’ll start off as many others in the Bible shared. Matthew 8:2 “And behold, a leper came and worshiped HIM, saying, “LORD, if YOU are willing, YOU can make me clean.”
But all too frequently, based on our own past, earthly perceptions…we unconsciously add uncertainty to our pleas.
Our remembrances of many a past prayer where nothing seemed to have changed in the slightest for good. AND! Actually many times things looked worse!
How then am I able to doubtlessly pray?!!
I’ll direct us to the very example GOD gave us, WHO is intimately familiar with our frail flesh and endlessly compassionate at the same instant in Time!
Mark 9:24 “Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “LORD, I believe; help my unbelief!”
Other versions state: “I do have faith! Please help me to have even more.”; “I do have faith, but not enough. Help me have more!”; “”I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
We echo that father’s cry, don’t we? The key components to unwavering prayer then are Faith, Hope, Zeal, Patience and Trust.
Romans 12:12 “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer!”
Our petitions to our SAVIOUR are lifted with all the Faith we feel we possess. We trust HE hears us!
Jeremiah 29:12-13; “Then you will call on ME and come and pray to ME, and I will listen to you. You will seek ME and find ME when you seek ME with all your heart.”
With all Zeal! Earnestly pressing leaving the outcome in the hands of the ONE WHO formed you as “one-of-a-kind!” Then!
Psalm 66:17-20 – “I cried out to HIM with my mouth; HIS praise was on my tongue. If I had cherished sin in my heart, the LORD would not have listened; but GOD has surely listened and has heard my prayer. Praise be to GOD, WHO has not rejected my prayer or withheld HIS love from me!”
Hallelujah! HE promised to hear us and HE does as we submit ourselves to HIS will and sovereign timing.
So it’s like the phrase which football coaches tell their players. “Leave it all on the field!” Give it all for GOD and give it all over INTO HIS hands!
Keep this in mind, oh my soul! HIS will may be to answer your prayer in full, in part or not at all.
Remember my earlier comment? “Yet our flesh still points to countless examples and “fill-in-the-blank” variables where we truly felt we doubtlessly prayed indeed…yet didn’t see our prayers answered?”
Our duty for others we intercede for is to WHOLEHEARTEDLY pray with all faith believing in line with Philippians 1:6! “…being confident of this very thing, that HE WHO has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of JESUS CHRIST…”
We’re all runners in this race of life and prayer is the baton that we firmly hand off to the LORD! Once we hand it off, it’s all HIM from there on!
So we shall continue to pray then…because our race isn’t over yet and more prayers we have within as such…to give to the LORD.
Therefore! We firmly hand off our many prayer batons to HIM throughout the day and REST in the fact that the race has already been won!
Thus every prayer strand is perfectly received through the Holy SPIRIT’s translation and woven by GOD’s fingers seamlessly with the rest of HIS will.
Embrace then 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 with me! “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the WILL OF GOD in CHRIST JESUS for you!”
So my friends! Undoubtedly join with the saints and the angel choirs in praising HIS NAME WHO works all things together for our good. All things!
Amen and amen!
