Galatians 5:1 “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith CHRIST has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage!”
Because Faith Creates Freedom!
Since gifts are given blessings, Faith’s presence isn’t the result of self-creation.
Belief, then, is the followup to this favorable outpouring from GOD.
But what if, like mounds of brightly colored yet still unopened packages under the CHRISTmas tree, what if one ignores all such good which HE bestows upon us?
2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the LORD is that SPIRIT: and where the SPIRIT of the LORD is, there is liberty!”
Then! Using Faith’s example, we live without it…needlessly un-anchored. JUST what the world defines as being “free”.
The gift of grace is another wondrous benefit we have which comes from CHRIST our LORD.
Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of GOD…”
Yet, using the un-anchored mentality of the world, it too remains unopened and even — unwanted — by so many “flee-floating” souls today.
So let us share the gifts of Faith and Grace today with all those surrounding! Let us open and never close such presents,
Let us remember Paul and Silas, though in chains, still rejoiced in the freedom which Faith in CHRIST brought.
Acts 16:25 “But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to GOD, and the prisoners were listening to them.”
Both faithfully and gracefully then, give HIS gifts out without delay, bias or indifference. Loose the chains on those in the bondage of unbridled selfishness!
Yes, I tell you, with the NAME of the LORD: “Set the captives free!”
