Transparently Glowing!

1 Corinthians 13:12 “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known!”

Transparently Glowing!

Vessels half full equal

vessels half empty.

The portions are mirrored:

their measures — the same.

But what difference is found

in perspective….one’s view!

Although both observations are true, yet one stumbles.

While seen through their glass

is Life’s path, yet Lack “fills” it…

with Doubt’s hollow claims and discouraging visions.

Cleanse then your lens and the world’s with HIS words!

thus surrendered, now once again “Sent!”, fill your cup…

till Transparently Glowing  with Scripture — o’erflowing!

As HIServant gazing ahead through CHRIST’s clear glass,

Devotional: Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your GOD; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with MY righteous right hand.”

“Our world today so desperately hungers for hope, yet uncounted people have almost given up. There is despair and hopelessness on every hand. Let us be faithful in proclaiming the hope that is in JESUS!” – Billy Graham

Isaiah 40:29 “HE gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might, HE increases strength.”

“Remember WHOSE you are and WHOM you serve. Provoke yourself by recollection, and your affection for GOD will increase tenfold; your imagination will not be starved any longer, but will be quick and enthusiastic, and your hope will be inexpressibly bright.” -Oswald Chambers

These verses and quotes echo the truths found only in The WORD of our LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST!

As we walk, many views of the world around us are shared. Both favorably and not. Both conscious and unconsciously.

How one predominately looks at reality is then influenced by what filter we put on…just like a pair of glasses.

So for the CHRISTian, through one eye glass we see clearly as one diligently studying and standing on HIS WORD.

Yet our other eye glass creates an incorrect spectacle! It shows us a distorted picture claiming that we are in lack, living with great loss and that the cloudy road ahead predicts our demise.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 “But HE said to me, “MY grace is sufficient for you, for MY power is made perfect in weakness.”

Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of CHRIST may rest upon me.

For the sake of CHRIST, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

When our cup “looks empty” or “appears to lack provision”, we MUST remember HIS WORDS and stand on HIS promises by looking through HIS eyes!

Psalm 27:1 “Of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

The path ahead seen through our glasses will appear disappointing and disheartening IF! IF the only eye we keep open is the one which a self-inserted cloudy lens!

Conversely the glowing path filled with HIS footprints, leading us to Heaven, will be clear before us as we choose the lens filter of the LORD! Viewing this Life through GOD’s WORD!

Hebrews 12:2 “….looking unto JESUS, the Author and Finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before HIM endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of GOD.”

The view that brings joy is found with a constant gaze upon our LORD JESUS! So look at life with both eyes open, replacing your glasses with HIS holy lens!

With such fresh vision then continue on…Transparently Glowing to lead others out of Darkness while serving CHRIST relentlessly! Amen and amen!
