Leaving the Ledge!
Sin’s horrors should cause us to quickly recoil from its clutches. Yet! Many are found who still linger.
At the edge of a cliff looking downward in darkness, they stand. Yet! Not steadfast! Hence, unstable ground!
Little wonder their peace has been stolen since choosing to stray. Yet! They mask every fear with more sin.
Thus! Oh soul which is wayward! You shall stumble into the pit…if your sinful steps don’t turn away.
Rather! Into the arms of our FATHER — fall BACK to find grace — for the light of HIS face leads us home!

Only HE is WHO is all powerful without equal can keep us safe in HIS hands. So lean on HIM alone and never your own understanding, oh Self.
Trust then completely in JESUS!
