Proverbs 31:8 “Open your mouth for those with no voice, for the cause of all appointed to destruction.” (Ensure justice for those being crushed!)
So Run…All Ye Faithful!

For the one whose voice cannot be heard, will you stand…and champion their cause with great zeal — as your own?
For those souls who are mute
will you speak…and take up their shout; leading onward their charge?
And for all who scream silently, absent of power…will you be then their volume when deaf seems each ear?
For the unborn, the vanquished, those yet in sins’ chains; as HIS faithful then run…interceding
for them!
As HIServant interceding with haste and with zeal,

Devotional: This verse is instruction from a mother to her son who was king. King Lemuel. That is, of Solomon…who was called Lemuel because GOD had ordained him to be king over Israel.
Let’s look at Proverbs 31:8 again. “Open your mouth with the word of truth and judge all the sons of evil.” That’s the Aramaic Bible in Plain English.
Words matter. How about the Septuagint? “Open thy mouth with the WORD of GOD, and judge all fairly.”
It’s verse 9 that helps us under -stand a bit better also. “9 Open your mouth, judge righteously, and defend the cause of the poor and needy.”
Look then all around you. Listen intently for those silent cries which come from utter brokenness and total injustice.
Be then the intersecting cross that CHRIST gave you to carry…which is the bridge bringing blessed hope to those with none!
Arise then! Take up their bed and your own…running to JESUS! Amen and amen!
