Who loathes their love
for any sin which turns
their heart away?
Who hates the harm
it causes to the point
they cling to Grace?
Only those so broken by
the Law’s unyielding lines;
Only those whose SAVIOUR’s
choosing taught them gaze
at Life through CHRIST!
With Hopes restored
by sovereign love
so turn we t’wards
our KING — above!
Yea, closer still
my GOD to THEE!
when focused through
YOUR eyes I see!
