Retreat to belief in JESUS CHRIST, our solid ROCK and firm FOUNDATION. Surrender construction done just in your name…which nobody knows and no one can save.
For what we perceive as a pristine cathedral is only a shack built from driftwood — discarded. With sand as its base and rooms flooded already, thus comes such destruction on those found — unsteady!
So dig till HIS bedrock foundation completely supports every corner! Then no fracture of Faith shall appear in your soul and CHRIST’s strength will embrace your whole household!

Devotional: 1 Corinthians 3: 9-15 “For we are GOD’s fellow workers; you are GOD’s field, you are GOD’s building. 10 According to the grace of GOD which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.
11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is JESUS CHRIST. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.
14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.”
How clear is this scripture AND the picture HE paints for us! Our fleshly frames are temporary housing that still must be built on HIS WORD alone.
CHRIST is the WORD so every corner of our temple must be wholly constructed upon our ROCK and REDEEMER! No exceptions, not even one!
What we see, hear, touch and feel are 4 of the major corners. There may be others in your life.
But using this quartet, when we bring each into subjection, adhering only to The MASTERBUILDER’s architectural plans, then! How firm our foundation is…all around!
1 Peter 1:22-24 “Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the SPIRIT in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, 23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of GOD which lives and abides forever,
24 because “All flesh is as grass. And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass.
The grass withers, And its flower falls away, 25 But the WORD of the LORD endures forever.”
Just because our flesh is a temporary dwelling, we must be wise stewards of it. We must place our faith in the LORD at every corner lest a building compromise in one corner ends up causing the entire house to fall.
We must glorify GOD in our body as the verses in 1 Corinthians 6 remind us.
This reminder then is to us all to rebuild any corner which we’ve foolishly trusted in a foundation made by hands.
Corners of what we think, believe, feel, see, hear and touch must all pass through the MASTERBUILDER for HIS approval, yes? YES!
So be your own building inspector and look with a loving yet critical eye at the corners of your Life. It matters what you’ve built upon. More so it matters who you’ve built your life upon.
Self or SAVIOUR, creation or CREATOR, you…or YAHWEH.
