Taking me to HIS Heart!
Chosen to stand
in the Gap then — for others;
especially those whom the LORD
chose — by heart.
No, not by hand
nor by Self’s own intention;
Instead just those drawn —
by HIS heart.
Thus! Each soul called
responds without fail!
Only question is “When?”
will you move to…HIS heart?

Devotional: 1 Samuel 16:7 “But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.”
A couple years back, I was reading through Leviticus 27 and came to verse 32.
“And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD.”
Without going into great detail, the phrase “whatsoever passeth under the rod” refers to whatever sheep or animal passed under the Shepherd’s rod.
Those would be holy to the LORD. But why would they pass under the rod? Why not run away?
Well the picture we have is one of sovereignty entwined with grace. GOD the FATHER is outside the sheep pen calling to us. The only way out is THROUGH the narrow gate which actually is CHRIST!
So if you hear GOD’s voice or feel HIS tug towards HIMSELF, delay no longer! Seek HIS presence by surrendering THROUGH CHRIST!
Then! Your heart will be bound with HIS and you’ll never be the same again! Hallelujah!
