Devotional: In that instant we are changed into HIS very image, some will be living and some will be asleep.
But we are graced with the knowledge that HE can, HE does (and HE has) lift up those HE wills to live again. Paul, Lazarus and others!
So as Abraham was unafraid to lift the knife to sacrifice his son Isaac, we too can live without worry nor concern because our God shall, whether we are physically living or asleep, rise us up at that hour!
1 John 3:3 “And everyone who thus hopes in HIM purifies HIMSELF as HE is pure.”
