Philippians 1:6 “And I am sure of this, that HE WHO began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of JESUS CHRIST.” Hallelujah!
Transforming Grain!

The clam remains shut beneath great water pressures but not because strength has eluded its will.
Rather given the way that it’s sovereign CREATOR has formed it, as such, it — most often — stays closed.
But when just one grain of the countless sands round it, when it gets immovably stuck in the shell…
…then the clam begins covering the minute intruder with uncounted layers, transforming its image.
Over time then that grain which once seemed without worth becomes worthy indeed!
Yea, a pearl of great price! So are we whom HE died for by giving HIS all…far beyond every cleansing to make us…like HIM!
As a former grain of sand now called as you are…
Devotional: The Parable of the Pearl of Great Price
Matthew 13:45-46 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.”
According to Quora: Clams have two shells of equal size connected by two adductor muscles and have a powerful burrowing foot.
A small foreign object, like a sandgrain, gets into the clam and the clam is unable to remove it.
In order to deal with this “intruder”, the clam starts to coat the foreign object with layers of a mineral material called Nacre, which is actually the biological secretion of the mineral Aragonite (CaCO3).
Microscopic Aragonite platelets are arranged in parallel and held together with organic proteins, which give the outside of the pearl the shiny, pearly appearance.
Mollusks, like clams, often coat the inside of their shell with the same material, making it all shiny.
It takes a while for the repeated coatings of Nacre to get thick enough to produce a good sized pearl.
Depending on water quality, temperature and mollusk species, the growth rate varies.
In general, you will need to wait 1 to 2 years to get a reasonably sized pearl out of the host.
So CHRIST didn’t “coat” or just cover us and our sins, HE eternally changed us.
Only perfection can enter Heaven so by HIS perfect and complete surrender on the Cross, the old has been removed and behold! The New shall come!
We are daily being transformed until that blessed moment when our metamorphosis has been solely and sovereignly completed at CHRIST’s return!
Arise now, oh pearl expectant… for our CREATOR draws nigh!
Amen and amen.
