It’s the height of IN service
where — cross intersected
GOD’s sovereign connections
thread CHRISTIans in line.
There aligned with GOD’s will
are we sewn by HIS hands
to receive exponentially
Faith’s full embrace!
For together HE weaves us!
Thus what blessed unions
come from each entwining
HE purposed we share!

Devotional: Romans 12:1 “Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.”
When we delight ourselves in the LORD, in the pursuit of selfless service for others (Psalm 37:4) then Romans 12:1 which we just read above…happens naturally and consistently.
Isaiah 48:17 “Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy ONE of Israel: “I am the LORD your GOD, WHO teaches you to profit, WHO leads you in the way you should go.”
When we look for those mountain top, spiritual high points, they’re always found IN HIS service for others.
Jeremiah 10:23 “I know, O LORD, that the way of man is not in himself, that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.”
This is because HIS purpose for our steps is NOT to be transactionally, as a dry routine or as some followed process with step-by-step instructions! As Jeremiah tells us plainly, we don’t even know that way…in and of ourselves. So Psalm 32:8!
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with MY eye upon you!”
So Tim, Sue, Sherry and I were having dinner last night and we talked about the joy of service.
When GOD brings people to HIMSELF and they then come up for prayer. Leading others as CHRIST leads, guides and directs us…then creates the greatest cross-intersections!
Such amazing feelings of Joy are shared by all; the connection to HIS love for them and for us is often indescribable!
2 Corinthians 9:8 “And GOD is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.”
So zealously press IN HIS service as each other’s servants…and HE shall give you the desire of your hearts’ intent…bent towards HIM!
