With Finishing Faith!
Many runners engage on the pathways of life. Different points mark each soul, — intersecting — as such.
Whether decades of service or far fewer days…still each has a beginning as well as an end.
Though “the dash” in between them — Signifigance — holds; still the “line of completion” is of greatest worth!
Paul says, in 1 Corinthians 9:24 (using the Amplified version) “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run [their very best to win], but only one receives the prize? Run [your race] in such a way that you may seize the prize and make it yours!”
Again, reflecting on the Parable of the Sower and the Seed, it’s about follow-through!
We don’t award anyone 1st prize because they ran the first 100 feet of the race in record time? No!
It’s the immense joy of completion, of finishing not only strong, but strongest in faith and greatest in Zeal!
What does 2 Timothy 4:7 tell us?
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith!”
Yes! CHRIST ALREADY won the battle for us!
But this race, your race…is meant to be lived in Victory. As you run for the LORD, do not permit the devil (and all the competition he pits against you) to cause you to slow down or to stumble!
If so, once recognized, seek GOD’s face and immediately return to the race set before you!
FINISH STRONG! Finish having spent every breath left to cross over when HIS Trumpet sounds!
