The Preferred Paths!
All along knowing that Calvary, our crossroads, why then is Direction so hard to discern?
Going “North”, turning “Right”: seem as foregone conclusions, yet “everywhere else” stray these steps — unconcerned.
Even so, as “unlearned” we are not in the slightest; Drawn by HIM, by name, so HIS calling is highest!
Without accolades and most absent of credit so returned to HIS paths are we through HIS own WORD!
So with greater our study and lower our Pride then “Which road should I take?” is a question — less heard.
Always speaking directly to us through each verse…then daily we’ll know which path HE prefers!

Devotional: Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge HIM, And HE shall direct your paths.”
It’s the challenge of many a CHRISTian to know which way GOD wants each of us to go.
There’s lots of prayer, seeking wise council, weighing all the options, etc.
But without a diligent, unbiased and open-minded approach to HIS WORD, without reading just to prove our own preference…
…then lost we’ll become. Both distracted and dismayed, we’ll shrink back from fervent study and favor any quicker solution.
BUT GOD! Proverbs 3:6 “In all your ways acknowledge HIM, and HE will make straight your paths.”
Oh, if only my youthful self had held to this instruction earlier!
Even so, Today is filled with HIS ordained purposes and preferred pathways for each CHRISTian.
Ephesians 5:15 “Look therefore carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise…”
So let us live and walk wisely according to HIS paths through the Bible and also through Life.
