“Are We There Yet?”

John 14:3 “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with ME that you also may be where I am.”

“Are We There Yet?”

“Are we there yet?” she whispered once more, most impatient. “This road looks the same as it has for awhile.”

“The signs and the scenery? You’re saying, they’re different? I was drawing my thoughts, so these eyes had looked down.

Yet you claim that our journey is drawing as well; even closer to when we shall finally be home!

Dearest Father, how long we have waited — impatient; how zealous our hearts yearn to see the “front door!”

Then HE whispered to me, “We will make a grand entrance and then you shall see Glory opened, at last!

“Yea, LORD!”, this I shouted, “our Refuge and Fortress! Draw us to the Heavens and show us our Home!

Devotional: John 14:4 “You know the way to the place where I am going.”

We do because HIS drawing opened our eyes! We’ll see Heaven because HIS crimson payment paid for our soul’s redemption AND salvation!

Therefore! You and I will sing shout this aloud!

Isaiah 25:9 “In that day they will say, “Surely this is our GOD; we trusted in HIM, and HE saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in HIM; let us rejoice and be glad in HIS salvation!”

We’re almost there! Keep watching! Hallelujah!

Amen and amen!
