THIS! Versus that…

1 Thessalonians 5:25 “Brothers, pray for us!” (And equally, sisters!)

THIS versus that!

Everyday walking by Life’s many shelves, and wondering (while “shopping”) what needs must be met…

…most often, those things that our Self has requested are those on the list which our hands always get.

Yet as strangers, both Giving and Sharing, more frequently seem when the need has no voice;

When unspoken requests go unnoticed in church which the world answers quickly with Doubting.

“Who’s coming for you since none hear your cry? What good does it do to attend? No one hears!

Even worse, none remember whenever they did! Forgotten they have…see, I told you so!”

But Truth tells a much different story! GOD’s WORD and THIS church stand in contrast to “that”!

In the gap, ever standing so are we — United! As such, bound together, our needs become one!

Hear!  I tell you this truth without wavering; “Do not be so fooled by such devilish lies!

As GOD is our witness, our

hearts and hands joining, shall intercede for you! Believe THIS, dear Child!”

As HIServant in your service, both in prayer and attention,

Whitney

Devotional: 1 Timothy 2:1 “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people…”

THIS is our privilege!

No one asks for prayer hoping that the Body will just pray once for them. Not at all!

Praying for someone is an ongoing, “stand in the gap” fervent battle — interceding!

Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered together in MY NAME, I am there in the midst of them.”

The devil’s darts and deceiving arrows aflame are often overwhelming to one believer. But just one other, agreeing in Faith?? WELL!

That soul IS lifted! I say this so often but THIS is our purpose as Heaven’s Fabric! We intercede when damage or harm comes to a thread, to even just a single strand in CHRIST.

James 5:16b “…Pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working!”

Great power is outpoured by GOD when we truly pray for others DAILY.

Not forgetting them the next day nor foregoing the blessings given to both the one needing prayer and those praying for them!

Ephesians 6:18 “Praying at all times in the SPIRIT, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints…”

So write down the requests you’ve heard. Put a small line by their name to remind you to pray for them THIS day and to see how many times you’ve been diligent to lift them up to JESUS.

Yes, wholly believe THIS and not all that which the devil spews!

Amen? Yea, amen!
