ONE’s Way!
We leave through a door just
to meet ourselves running
Sometimes going forwards
and other times backwards…
…which tells us that we have
been “here” — once before.
Maybe twice — else Amnesia’s
reflection mirrors us!
So one comes to conclusions
which common sense shares…
till our Faith vows again to
not travel that way.
And though we know better,
though Flesh proceeds failing…
CHRIST’s Crimson bought Victory
completes all HIS children!
As such, our pasts — pardoned!
As such, Glory bound…going
only — one way — till we just
meet HIM — above!

Oh!! HE is The ONE Way, HE is our only Path, HE is our All in All! When the cycle of our sinful flesh again meets us and the evil one laughs and says,
“Whitney! Weren’t you just here yesterday and the day before that? Trying to convince your GOD that you’re very sorry, that you really care and worse yet…that you’ll never do “this” again? HE isn’t listening!”
Some form of that dialogue has plagued and may still bother a great many CHRISTians.
Those who look at their blood stained hands and weep at the evidence of another failure, another dog returning to its vomit, another pig racing back to the mud.
Psalm 139:7 “Where shall I go from YOUR SPIRIT? Or where shall I flee from YOUR presence?”
But GOD! BUT! GOD!! HE tells us whose voice that is! That’s the evil one, the devil, the father of all lies!
When GOD draws us through our own muck and more, (gossip, anger, lust, manipulation, lies, deceit, pride etc…when HE draws us through and out of our own ways…we are then free.
This is THE Truth WHO does set us free! John 8:35-36 “A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son belongs to it forever! 36 So if the SON sets you free, you will be free indeed!
So we know HE’s the ONLY ONE with the ONLY WAY that could and HAS saved us!
No, we don’t glory in our flesh; we’re not craving some “license to sin!”
But it is a dark stain that self, when left to oneself, cannot completely avoid in this life. Paul greatly agonized over this very challenge.
Even so, he — just as so many others used by the HOLY SPIRIT to physically scribe what they were told — Paul recognized that when he returned again to his own sinful vomit…
…CHRIST’s blood still showed him to be wholly cleansed and forever perfect in HIS eyes!
Never some “less than! Amen?
So when you sadly meet yourself coming and AGAIN going down the wrong paths and the wrong ways…keep HIS WORDS in mind to silence the enemy!
Psalm 138:7 “Psalm 138:7 “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, YOU preserve my life; YOU stretch out YOUR hand against the wrath of my enemies, and YOUR right hand delivers me!”
Psalm 86:11 “Teach me YOUR way, O LORD; I will walk in YOUR truth; Unite my heart to fear YOUR NAME!”
Psalm 25:4 “Show me YOUR ways, O LORD; Teach me YOUR paths!”
Song of Solomon 6:3 “I am my BELOVED’s, and my BELOVED is mine!” We praise YOUR Holy NAME, oh LORD GOD!
