Clinging to LIFE!
The aroma of wall paper flowers
is unlike the rose or the Lilly.
Truthfully told, no fresh fragrance it holds…since all of its beauty was painted.
Such one dimensional pictures indeed even if with raised petals for texture.
Consequently its printed display is
a poor substitute for GOD’s brushstrokes.
Yet how often man’s goal — Replication, as if it resembles HIS actions,
as if a shadow could hang upon Calvary! AS IF! Still continue we onward!
Just as phantoms come from paper tigers and as substituted pictures mirror life;
thus the only “Real thing” we must cling to is HE WHOSE love never lets go…JESUS CHRIST!
