Psalm 136:26 “Give thanks to the GOD of heaven, for HIS steadfast love endures forever!”
Found IN HIS Love!
Since ‘tis YOU WHO decreed
that we love one another
then why have I failed?
Why can’t I love myself?
Maybe “tolerate” is
the description desired
since heartfelt Affection
of “me” isn’t known.
So perhaps the best word
and, in truth, the real reason
is that Self lost sight of
The SAVIOUR I know!
For as HIS ray of LIGHT,
HIS blood bought Reflection,
then by WHOLLY embracing
HIM, I shall feel love!
Therefore no one but JESUS
must hold our attentions
for only in CHRIST,
found solely within HIM…
Divine’s sweet devotion
now craved…shall be ours!

Devotional: 1 John 4:16 “So we have come to know and to believe the love that GOD has for us. GOD is love, and whoever abides in love abides in GOD, and GOD abides in him!”
It’s a low point in many a life where we feel unloved. Even hated at times. The LORD even tells us not to marvel that the world hates us.
1 John 3:18 “MY little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.”
So even when supposed “CHRISTians” treat us to another serving of the world’s hate, we must respond in love, remembering Isaiah 54:10.
“For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the LORD, WHO has compassion on you!”
Oh THANK GOD! HIS pure love for us is the prime example for our hearts to follow and outpour in like manner!
So, Divine’s sweet devotion craved is FOUND satisfied in complete surrender
to and relentless embrace of…our
LORD JESUS!
