First Following!

John 1:45a “Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found HIM…!”

First Following!

Eager expectations filled
both Andrew and Nathaniel!
However not for earthly
substance nor for any other gain.

Their lives in tandem
spent — sought Messiah
as their SAVIOUR! When
HE came to them, their
hearts with overwhelmed
with greatest Joy!

As the wisemen brought
HIM gifts because HE came
as Scripture promised, so
Nathaniel’s praise joined
Andrew’s — giving thanks!

In this present hour then be
as joyous as those men…for
THE WORD foretold CHRIST’s
coming and, as well, HIS
soon return!

Therefore live as one expectant;
daily watching and rejoicing,
so those standing near your
heart become HIS followers
…with Zeal!

As HIServant first following JESUS’ example and that of zealous believers as well,

Devotional: John 1:45 “Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found HIM of whom Moses in the law,
and also the prophets, wrote, JESUS
of Nazareth, the son of Joseph!”

John 1:49 “Nathanael answered and said to HIM, “Rabbi, YOU are the SON of GOD! YOU are the KING of Israel!”

When we read this account in John, it might seem that Andrew is the only one expectantly awaiting the Messiah.

And when JESUS tells Nathaniel that HE saw him under the fig tree in Verse 48…

…he instantly recognizes the ONE for WHOM he’d also been waiting!

That’s what happens when we as Creation meet our CREATOR!

When those who are truly EXPECTANT of the LORD’s return…feel HIS presence.

Unlike any other! Unlike anyone or anything else! Hallelujah!

So be “First Following” CHRIST most of all and then be like Andrew!

And for those still hesitant, quickly take note of Nathaniel’s rapid change of behavior.

So if you’re not already expectantly pressing in to see HIS face…begin Today!

Amen and amen!
