John 10:16 “And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear MY voice; and there will be one flock and one SHEPHERD…”
At the Sheep Crossing!
The peer of unsuspecting souls is sightless Faith — misguiding. GOD’s Way looks often darkened then to pilgrims — wearing blinders.
Those travelers whom HE summoned first — HIS Jewish sons and daughters; did just what Flesh is known for with its every step: they faltered.
So we who HE called afterwards, the Church in CHRIST — believing, have by HIM been grafted inwards! Without merit, Grace receiving!
No better nor as “greater than” so walk we with Reflection because HE chose us while in Sin we laid! What priceless intervention!
So as two sheep whose SHEPHERD is the very same WHO saved us…therefore lead each other Home within the love that JESUS gave us!
As HIServant eternally grateful CHRIST will unite our flocks one soon and coming day,

Devotional: Zechariah 12:10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that,
…when they look on ME, on HIM whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for HIM, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn!”
It’s no less than at Calvary’s Cross where the two Sheep folds were given HIS promise and foundation for future reconciliation.
Meaning: Just as HE wrote in John 10:16, HE WILL bring both sheep folds into one… one day!
So both Jew and Gentile have fallen short and our flesh trips us up far more than we want to admit.
We should gladly and willingly learn from each other staying focused on doing the good works HE planned for us from before Time itself!
The Jews are HIS chosen people and the Church, was birthed by CHRIST to reconcile man to HIMSELF beyond the Law which HE fulfilled with HIS shed blood.
We would have no OT without GOD choosing Israel and foreshadowing the NT so we’d know there was so much more for us!
So given the NT and the Jews rejection again of CHRIST, the Living WORD, we MUST LOVINGLY pray for and interact with our Jewish brothers and sisters.
Their eyes are largely blinded. Look at John 12: 37-40 and we’ll see our responsibility to pray for and stretch out to our yet unbelieving Jewish friends.
37 But although HE had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in HIM, 38 that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke:
“LORD, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?”
39 Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again:
40 “HE has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, lest they should see with their eyes, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, so that I should heal them.”
Although HIS Sovereign will appears confusing to our hearts, the 70th week of Daniel will be the reconciling of HIS flock, the Jews…back to HIMSELF. What love!!
So they won’t or can’t see JESUS but we know they will when HE fully reveals HIMSELF to their weeping souls as we referred to in Zechariah 12:10 above.
Revelation 1:7 “Behold, HE is coming with clouds, and every eye will see HIM, even they who pierced HIM. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of HIM. Even so, Amen.”
As such, we as those surrendered to JESUS CHRIST, lovingly pray and serve those who do not…
…most especially those who WILL be joined with us into one flock by our Great SHEPHERD, JESUS!
