Hosea 4:6a “MY people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”
For Lack of Knowledge!
Keep his hands from
scribing error; yea,
constrain her steps
with YOURS…
…and forever change
their actions which
come from such
hearts of stone.
Even bind their
wandering minds to
the thoughts found
in YOUR WORD.
Yet well before this,
oh, my FATHER, have
me know the lack —
in me.
As HIServant re-reminded to only using the WORD’s measuring stick known
as HIS Love,

Devotional: Well known Isaiah 5:13 “Therefore my people go into exile for
lack of knowledge; their honored men go hungry, and their multitude is parched with thirst.”
So to reject CHRIST equals rejecting Knowledge and Wisdom since HE is
The SOURCE of both!
Now the extended, accusing finger of “They’d better change their ways!” has been talked about for centuries.
For instance, “If I point a finger at you, there’s still three fingers pointing
back at me.”
Scripture says it best in Matthew 7:5.
“Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”
Spoken most of all to myself, the obvious answer is to be living while outpouring HIS Love.
And this can only be “well done” by
first applying and adopting HIS steps
as my own!
Only by first thinking and writing as someone willingly humbled; only
by daily kneeling with great thankfulness for HIS endless grace and mercy…
Only then does that often spiteful, extended finger turn into a loving embrace which transparently shows
the face of CHRIST!
Romans 5:8 “But GOD shows HIS love for us in that while we were still sinners, CHRIST died for us.”
Dying to self and rejecting Self’s “wisdom” is the only way to accept HIM and embrace HIS!
Philippians 2:3 “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves.”
Prefer them!
So extending Grace, Forgiveness and Preference, let us love the knowledge of GOD found exclusively in HIS WORD!
