Without Self Infliction!
How deep our love for the FATHER when deepest our grief and despair…
knowing only HIS heart can re-rescue our ownin these hours — so absent of Care!
Not such as given by Evil whose every embrace proves this point!
Rather solely the wings of our LORD
JESUS CHRIST brings HIS balm with Compassionate’s voice!
Let’s then love just like HIM…with Joy
which increases when there is no Pain!
Exceed every level to which you’d been driven and reflect HIM to all…in HIS NAME!

Devotional: Psalm 107:20 “HE sent out HIS WORD and healed them; HE rescued them from the grave!”
When I’ve had to go through gut wrenching loss and betrayal, when there was literally no money in the bank, when my health wasn’t the greatest…GOD held my face in HIS hands.
As promised, HE bottled my every tear and bandaged all my brokenness until, once more, I could see Life in my day and the Light of HIS face.
But the road to such “mountain top” experiences often begin in the depths of despair.
When there’s no other way visible and no other hand of assistance is anywhere near us.
But GOD! HE gave us HIS WORD so that we need not drop so low as if that’s the prerequisite to going equally higher in the opposite direction!
I know this all too well.
For example, for 5 years after my brother’s vehicle accident and arrival in Heaven…I did JUST that.
I’d play his favorite songs on my stereo over and over and over. I’d cry,
I’d just sit on the floor and weep, remembering it as if yesterday.
Then after an hour or so, I’d stand up and remove myself from the deep anguish.
This was my perceived pattern of how I could reach heights of Joy.
First, visit Despair until it really tears at you emotionally. Then, after a set period of time, go out and enjoy life.
AS IF…as if this order of actions was truly necessary for me to have Joy in my life.
Honestly, it was a self-inflicted wounding that I didn’t truly come to recognize until 5 years later.
So! For some who want Joy so desperately in their lives, this pattern I just spoke of may seem familiar to you.
GOD’s merciful patience and endless love brought me out of that haze and showed me that Joy can be obtained directly!
Psalm 16:11 “YOU make known to me the path of life; in YOUR presence there is fullness of joy…
…at YOUR right hand are pleasures forevermore!”
So! There’s no earning it or coming up with some off the wall transaction which needs to happen first.
We CAN have the Joy of CHRIST and IN HIM…when we keep our eyes and heart set UPON HIM!
That is a breakthrough of Freedom which is the greatest gift of human love that you can give another soul.
Setting them free from
the chains of sin and Death…no more worried about having to pay for everything “Out of Pocket” first…to only THEN gain the Joy of CHRIST!
So Love’s Greatest Hour can be right now for anyone!
By casting all our burdens upon HIM and singularly seeking HIS face without ceasing…then!
THEN we can sing as one, “My chains are gone! I’ve been set free!” No more to stay…in Misery!
Therefore, without Self’s inflictions…run free, feel Joy and tell others!
