Exodus 15:6 “YOUR right hand, O LORD, glorious in power, YOUR right hand, O LORD, shatters the enemy.”
Knowing WHO holds them!
These cards dealt to us
bear both sovereignty’s
markings
and those from the
darkness surrounding.
Life’s table then spins
and the next card we get
cannot stop such attacks
as would harm us.
So those valueless numbers
combine for defeat
since the Aces and
Jokers are gone.
With no face cards then
one must bluff and pretend…
as if having the greatest
hand ever!
But we have THE KING
WHO exceeds every “other”
for HE supersedes
Life’s pretenders!
Stop “counting cards” then;
to HIS scarred hands — extending —
for HE holds our Victory
that’s already won!

I appreciate the many translations that use the word “snatch” versus “take” in this verse.
There’s a rapid removal suggested with the first which “take” doesn’t really convey or mirror.
So aren’t you thankful that the HIGHest is CHRIST THR KING in WHOSE hands we’re protected and kept for Eternity?
Absolutely! And HE doesn’t “play us” as cards in a game but flows through us both willing and doing of HIS good pleasure!
So we can live without scheming, holding back from HIS service, or living as if we have some higher card of our own.
Just lay in all down on the Table for JESUS and HE shall lift you up!
