For the Briefest of Times!

Romans 6:4 “We were buried therefore with HIM by baptism into death, in order that, just as CHRIST was raised from the dead by the glory of the FATHER, we too might walk in newness of life!”

For the Briefest of Times!

The slow of GODly change engages
when those we’ve placed to guide our choices…

…distract us from the Narrow Way
with countless voices all around.

Some known, some not, these “focus thieves” whose calls continue with Increasing!

Thus such who grieve HIS HOLY SPIRIT
chose Defeat for Comfort’s keeping.

So on this Day remembering CHRIST…
HIS Tomb? Just a “Pause in the Action”.

Because! HE rose to grant us Life
…so stand with your heart to HIS — fastened!

As HIServant reflecting backwards while kneeling forward,

Devotional: 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that CHRIST died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures…

“that HE was buried, that HE was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures…”

Now CHRIST, although pausing HIS earthly frame for three days, kept moving, didn’t HE?

Yes! HE went down to take Captivity captive, to take back those who’d believed in HIM before Calvary and usher them into Glory.

So it was the briefest of pauses that HIS earthly body experienced! A “moment in Time” which HE used to secure our eternal lives in Heaven!

So for this Resurrection Sunday and these two days leading up to it, fasten your heart strings even tighter to CHRIST as we await HIS return in the Rapture!

Romans 10:9 “Because, if you confess with your mouth that JESUS is LORD and believe in your heart that GOD raised HIM from the dead, you will be saved!”

Therefore repent and accept JESUS WHO paused at Calvary so you can live forever with HIM!

We praise YOU, LORD GOD!

Amen and amen!
