John 20:16a “JESUS said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to HIM, “Rabboni!”
The Crossroads Difference!

GOD completely changed
my phrase “just as I am”
to “who I was.”
Else a surface level
moment would have only
been because….
…HE’d left me where HE
found me. Then — indifferent
— I’d have stayed.
But! Meeting HIM has
“wrecked” and transformed
my soul with Grace!
So GOD’s love, oh Hallelujah!
I’m reborn by JESUS’ NAME!
As HIServant so thankfully and completely different when HE called my name,
Whitney
Devotional: 1 Corinthians 1:9 “GOD is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST our LORD!”
When HE called Samuel as a young boy, Samuel heard his own name.
At the Tomb, JESUS called Mary by her own name and she first saw our risen LORD!
In Exodus 3, GOD spoke the name of Moses from within the burning bush, calling him to a new purpose and path.
When HE transformed Saul on the road to Damascus, Saul heard his own name.
GOD used his old name first and then later by his newly transformed name. What a radical change in him!
In Genesis 32, Jacob is no longer called Jacob but by the name Israel. ISRAEL!
The patriarch who’s hip wasn’t displaced until his own zeal had proven him as he wrestled with the Angel.
David, Joshua, and many more who GOD called out and purposefully changed in the process!
Each of them just as with everyone of us must listen for HIS call every day.
Are there any course changes, any different people to meet with, any new information we need to know and apply to our walk?
So these are all Crossroads. In the three book series, the Crossroads Trilogy which he gave me nearly 20 years ago,
HE met me with a 600 page, 9 month writing assignment while also writing devotionals every day.
At that Crossroad, HE graciously compelled me far beyond my own ability. Just like HE did with HIServants in The WORD.
HE gave people specific skills to build the tabernacle and all that went in it, especially the Ark and the serving tools.
And HE’s given you specific talents to make difference in the lives of others THROUGH the elevation and repeated mention of HIS NAME!
1 Corinthians 1:26 “For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.”
These other factors can’t stop GOD from using any of us, amen?
Not even death! Look at Lazarus in John 11:43-44.
“Now when HE had said these things, HE cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”
44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. JESUS said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”
So by JESUS’ NAME and power, you are looses! Set free! Go, serve and preach HIS Good News to all!
So let’s pray then and leave our comfort zones to preach passionately and zealously in HIS beautiful NAME while we are still able to share.
Oh what a wondrous difference HE’s made in me at the Crossroads!
Amen and amen!
