Pushing Back, Pressing Through!

Proverbs 23:18 “Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off!”

Pushing Back, Pressing Through!

Drawing near
to THEE FATHER
sincerely and often,
Is not without struggle.

Companion
to our footprints
comes also detractors,
both human and spirit.

Oppression
confronts us
from each side of the veil
and sometimes — increases.

But YOU say
“Come close to ME.
Filter all that you hear
now through your CREATOR!

For I AM!
Your soul’s REFUGE…
rewarding each servant
whose steps press to ME.

So child!
Lift up your heart;
cast Anxiety down
and rest in MY embrace!

As HIServant reminded to keep pressing and praying through every human and dark spirit’s resistance,

Whitney

Devotional: John 5:8 “JESUS said to him, “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.”

It is most challenging when we’re just trying to get up in the morning and obstacles immediately hit us.

Physical ailments, emotional strains, mental woes and spiritual attacks as well…

…sometimes feel like they just wait for our eyelids to open. Like they gear up all night to hit us full force with the dawn!

Proverbs 16:3 “Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established.”

But don’t think the battle is one-sided or that we’re on the losing team. Not at all!

The GREAT NEWS is that our battles are fought WITH GOD at our side and the Holy SPIRIT within us!

Proverbs 4:25 “Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you.”

So! When we talk with HIM all throughout our day, our eyes are not only turned upon JESUS, but our steps are found more so IN HIS, aren’t they?

Moving forward then to get closer to HIM, even in the heat of the battle, is easier because of our blessed Hope!

Philippians 3:14 “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of GOD in CHRIST JESUS!”

HE IS coming back and HE is with us right now. Soon then we will be face – to – face with JESUS and!

There’ll be no more forces against us ever again! Hallelujah, thank YOU, LORD!

Psalm 31:24 “Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the LORD!”

Amen and amen!
