Ephesians 4:15 “Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into HIM WHO is the Head, into CHRIST…”
Simply Starting, Pressing Deeply!

Simplicity’s words
both brief and concise
are valuable tools
for those learning.
HIS message does not
bring “baggage”, as such,
nor for harsh repetition
with Pride.
So “simple” is best when
beginning to train
yet each listener must
patiently press.
For the meat of the WORD
is to eat, not observe…
of things deeper which
HE wrote for us!
Therefore! Simply start
but go…digging deep
where — with Time — shall
HIS presence be sweeter!
As HIServant reminded to constantly learning and be filled with ALL of HIS WORD,

Devotional: 2 Peter 3:18 “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. To HIM be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen!”

Reading the Bible starts off for so many of us as a complex effort.
There’s trying to understand how things fit together, learning who the main “players” are, asking “What did HE mean by __?” And! So much more.
But “growing in Grace” isn’t a complex instruction since we read it’s growing in
Grace AND knowledge.
Proverbs 1:5 “A wise man will hear and increase in learning, and a man of understanding will acquire wise counsel…”
And that’s BOTH men and women. But why a soul is still hungry after they leave church….is because they’re choosing to eat only spiritual lettuce.
It’s why no lasting, spiritual growth or depth can occur!
When one drinks just the milk of The WORD while the plateful of truth/ meat is minimized or sadly, ignored…they are choosing great loss instead of great gain.
This Hour before HIS return should thus be filled with those daily watching, waiting, learning and eating ALL of GOD’s instructions to us.
How else can one fully prepare for JESUS when their instruction manual and Bible is used for short snacks only?
When rather than studying more to grow in The LORD, the opposite occurs. With “Well known, easy to understand passages as the only food table visited…
…then “longer relationship building times with GOD” are shortened or even stopped so that THAT time…can be spent on lesser activities.
Philippians 1:25 “Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy in the faith…”
Spoken most of all to myself and as encouragement to all, it’s as the words that are often heard at Communion when the
bread has been passed out.
“Eat ye ALL of IT!”
So dig in daily and HE will
make HIS initially “hard to
understand” passages…
simpler to digest and much
sweeter to your soul!
Come and See! Prepare to meet our KING!
Amen and amen!
