Psalm 111:10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. HIS praise endures forever!
Walking Wisest!

Wisdom freely given
yet not prized enough
to keep…
leaves one crippled
by the loss
of Understanding.
Unmeasured and
unchecked
so their void, it
stays unknown.
Without knowledge
of their gap
still lost remaining.
So choosing wiser
ways; we must retain
Instruction
found inscribed
within HIS WORD…
no truth forgetting!
As HIServant reading and memorizing Scripture so to answer them who ask — in any season,

Devotional: Proverbs 1:7 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.”

Ephesians 5:15 “So be
careful how you walk,
not as unwise men,
but as wise…”
Here’s the Original Greek, the LXX / Septuagint for Psalms 90:12 “…and who knows how to number his days because of the fear of thy wrath?”
“So manifest thy right hand, and those that are instructed in wisdom in the heart.”
We better know the condensed version of the NKJV and other translations.
“So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
What’s missing in many such re-translated verses is the humbled awe and righteous fear of the LORD GOD Almighty.
Of course, those steeped in the law will project fear as of eternal punishment if one takes a wrong step or makes “too many” mistakes.
But the fear and respect of the LORD is our due response for HIM giving us eternal like!
And! We have THIS life to show our gratitude and great thanks for calling us HIS own.
Job 28:28 “And HE said to man, ‘Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.’”
So to “walk wisest” finds one reading HIS WORD daily, exampling HIS walk hourly and living for HIM …moment by moment!
Amen and amen!
