Ezekiel 4:8 “And surely I will restrain you so that you cannot turn from one side to another till you have ended the days of your siege.”
Sovereign Assignments,
Purposeful Chains!

Broken intently by
GOD for HIS work,
constrained by Health’s
chains which are
breaking…
so found then was Self
with just enough
movement to write on
this paper Instructions…
for taking.
So this stencil — through
pain — presses daily;
to finish each training
day…promptly.
Completing those
lessons HE bids me
pass on — those
successfully which I’ve
learned not to repeat.
Now whatever your
boundaries HE’s
ordered, look around
to see those just like you.
For our Heavenly
Teacher does not make
mistakes. So your
mission field IS…where
you’re standing!
As HIServant bent on zealously serving — right where I am for as long as HE’s planned,

Devotional: Ezekiel 4:4-9
“Lie also on your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it.“
“According to the number of the days that you lie on it, you shall bear their iniquity.”
5 “For I have laid on you the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days; so you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.”
6 “And when you have completed them, lie again on your right side; then you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days. I have laid on you a day for each year.”
7 “Therefore you shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem; your arm shall be uncovered, and you shall prophesy against it.”
8 “And surely I will restrain you so that you cannot turn from one side to another till you have ended the days of your siege.”
GOD RESTRAINED Ezekiel 430 days! GOD bound him / chained him up / constrained his movements for well over a year!
What if Ezekiel had other things to do? You know he did. But GOD’s plans for him didn’t match with his or the expectations of the Israelites.
The problem is that many times we fall into an “ideal” mode.
Meaning: “When I can get past this illness, sickness, debt, etc…then I’ll be freed up to finally do the work GOD’s given me.”
But more often than not, I believe, there is purpose in the very “challenged” steps we stand in now. Just like Ezekiel’s.
So instead of “I’ll be able to really serve GOD WHEN…” my lessons have taught me to serve NOW regardless of location or circumstances.
Because isn’t that WHERE we are most of the time? In an “Un-ideal” situation or place for us to really serve?”
This is the sovereign weaving of GOD and each intersection point bears purpose and blessing for those we meet…and for ourselves.
So let’s focus, oh Self! Narrow our vision to see WHAT can be done with each breath versus…why we can’t do what’s “ideal”.
Use me today, oh LORD, in any and every way YOU ordain!
Amen and amen!
