With Encouraging Words of Fire!
Grayish icicles hanging from
Life’s damaged gutters
like tinsel long faded,
worn dark by the ages;
so also seemed Hope’s best appearance… to flutter.
Hearing audibly frozen
responses to heartache,
still each victim — dismayed
clung much greater to Grace…
for the LORD surely promised
their bonds HE would break!
Reborn then to run from such
chains — once applied.
Now with faces of flint
to withstand those against!
So we sing HIS encouraging
words — in reply!

When people respond to our message of faith with frigid tongues and frozen arrows…
…then our best defense is HIS consuming fires of encouragement!
We need not hoard earthly matches in preparation of fighting enemy fires!
Rather we are armed with HIS healing and encouraging words which act as rain to dissolve and extinguish the fiery darts of the enemy!
Hebrews 3:13 “But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.”
So in this ever growing late hour, still! We ARE fully equipped to:
Deliver Truth,
Restore Hope and
Encourage souls!
So let us get up today and DO…all three!
1 Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”
