Matthew 24:35 “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but MY WORDS shall not pass away!”
Why, more than CHRIST, are our scribblings believed? Why is HIS WORD discounted while man’s is uplifted?
Writing with flaws which given errant perspectives, how then, as Creation, can we author Truth?
Only HIS SPIRIT, most holy — inscripting… inks Wisdom’s instructions and pens perfect text!
So forgive me for doubting, oh Self, every rambling…which you and our kind seek to print as HIS source.
Excuse this rejection of “buying” each sentence that Flesh has been selling as if HIS reflections!
Now examine THIS life with each breath…as HIS page. Choose HIS WORDS preaching Truth: “Believe only in CHRIST’s!”

Devotional: 1 Corinthians 8:2 “If anyone imagines that he knows something, he does not yet know as he ought to know.”
How often do we choose our own words! When we experience all sorts of emotions, during all kinds of times, with any number of “random” variables?
Many we regret, many we replay in our heads wondering why we chose those words and wishing we could take them back.
2 Corinthians 10:5 “We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of GOD, and take every thought captive to obey CHRIST…”
So it’s the daily consumption of HIS WORDS and HIS instructions which help prime us for that “next” occasion. How well know that already is!
Still! Our old nature and flesh demand equal billing as though for every gracious response there needs to be a selfish one.
And no matter how blatant in error, sometimes our thoughts keep wandering forward, imagining the words we’d use a comeback or retort to “put someone in their place.”
Proverbs 4:23-24 “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a forward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.”
It’s Wasted Time. Truly the definition of ‘vain imaginations’.
Proverbs 30:5-6 “Every word of GOD is pure;
HE is a shield to those who put their trust in HIM. 6 Do not add to HIS words, lest HE rebuke you, and you be found a liar.”
So spiritually lead by reflex most often because of your daily reading of just HIS WORDS!
