Jeremiah 10:23 “I know, O LORD, that the way of man is not in himself, that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.”
With HIM, In HIM!
Being thoughtless or
thoughtful is a
crossroad;
being heartless or
loving — another.
Discovering then
whose footprints
we stand in
helps discern the
intentions of others.
For when we exalt
Self’s decisions each
day, overflowing with
Ego’s ascension…
…we’re blind to the fact that
our schemings were copied.
So! We’re victims who “tripped
up” ourselves.
But as transparent slides
sent reflecting HIS Heart
thus reject we Self’s
camouflaged stainings.
Then seen is HIS thoughtful,
most loving embrace,
flooding through us who
choose to walk WITH HIM!
As HIServant watching whose presence I reflect so none, including self, are misled,

Devotional: Acts 2:38 “And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the NAME of JESUS CHRIST for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the HOLY SPIRIT.”
How often then a wayward person’s trap actually catches their own steps instead!
It’s a sad truth but when an errant soul who is bent on their own way of things…
…when they see such a successful crime, their first thought is: DUPLICATION.
“How do I trick someone like that and get away with it?”
Such narcissistic thinking creates stains on our individual slides so that CHRIST isn’t readily seen IN us!
Mark 8:34-35 “And calling the crowd to HIM with his disciples, HE said to them, “If anyone would come after ME, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow ME.”
“For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for MY sake and the gospel’s will save it.”
So when we lovingly walk IN HIM and act LIKE HIM then the LIGHT of CHRIST will consume their darkness!
Now they may turn and fade deeper into the shadows of sin.
But! Our present lives are a testimony to the powerful changes GOD brings us through.
We are not sent by GOD to be “seeker friendly” because that term preaches love only and ignores GOD’s justice.
Telling someone to repent and leave their sinful lifestyle to be CHRIST’s child…that is the greatest message of eternal Hope and Love!
No one should try to trick or tease them into a wondrous yet very sacrificial life with and for JESUS.
That’s a choice which the broken and contrite can truly make.
This is entirely opposed to an emotional concert high choice…which largely glosses over the absolute need to completely surrender one’s heart to JESUS!
So as the Sermon on the Mount tells us, teach, educate and persuade others with the love of CHRIST.
To compromise and be tolerant of ongoing sin in a church or in one’s own life “is being loving” as the world defines it.
But GOD tells us a vastly different story. HIS is one of complete sacrifice being INTOLERANT of sin and not watering HIS truth down either.
Our greatest experiences are the floods of HIS approval for staying the course and standing our ground in Faith.
In the end which we now draw so close to, there’s only two sides.
Our LORD GOD on the eternally winning side and satan…on the forever defeated side.
And there is NO lukewarm, safe Zone, in between spot to be had! So choose to follow The LORD alone!
