Psalm 86:5 “For you, O LORD, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you!”

GOD is patient
not tardy nor late.
HIS Justice is timely
just as is HIS love.
Consequently…
HE is never mocked.
Although claims some
have made,
HE always pays back.
Given this truth
why test HIM, oh Flesh?
HE shall surely correct
in HIS sovereign way!
Choose then forfeit;
surrendering all.
For without JESUS CHRIST,
there is no reprieve.
But HIS promise kept
at Calvary set free!
HE transferred our sentence
— and cleansed us —
Complete!
So gain we life;
Victory — eternal!
Thank GOD then
HIS graces…forgave
what we said!

Devotional: Psalm 141:3 “Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips.”
Many times people, self included, say things they didn’t really mean.
At the same time, countless others truly mean what they say when mocking our SAVIOUR.
But the scales of HIS Justice never falter. HE is patient, long suffering even, awaiting our repentance.
Yet when souls “double down”, repeat their offensive words, and then hold their heads high as if absolved from any crime…
…HE takes note and will repay.
HIS timing may be instant or set for a later, specific hour but know this! GOD is not mocked.
Let us diligently look in our hearts and review all that’s in our hands. For out of the abundance of the heart we speak…
…and if it’s grumbling and complaining against HIS sovereign threading, then correction will be coming.
Let us also look to the seed in our hands that we sow with. Are they seeds of communion or division?
Let us show mercy and draw together in unity as we have been shown HIS blessings.
Luke 6:36 “Be merciful, even as your FATHER is merciful.”
From our hearts to our thoughts to our hands…let us align all in the zealous service of our GOD and KING …WHOSE words never fail!
