Swirling Upwards!

Matthew 28:20b “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Swirling Upwards!

Every drain swirls by cascading downwards with liquid flows surging; their currents — increasing.

In some such is found never stopping nor slowing…whose anchor is missing or worse yet, abandoned.

So tug on your line, weary Traveler, once more! Are you bound to the LORD or free floating as lost?

If disconnected, then start “treading water” for HE WHO walks ON it…won’t let you drift farther!

As HIServant thankfully reminded that the ONE WHO calms my waves — controls everything,

Devotional: Psalm 23:4 “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for YOU are with me; YOUR rod and YOUR staff, they comfort me!”

So I’ll rephrase the last verse of the poem just a tad 🙂

“If you feel disconnected, then stop moving and start “treading water” in place because!

Because HE WHO walks on it… won’t let you drift farther!”

Whenever desperate, internal feelings flood us, then HIS call for us to re-Anchor our lives is heard.

We can re-open HIS WORD and read zealously at any time but especially when if feels we’ve somehow drifted away from HIS anchor.

So if the childhood feeling comes of when your toes don’t touch the bottom of pool…

…and you’re in the deep end unable to swim, lift up your hearts and hands again to the LORD.

Cling to HIS cross in the WORD and rejoice as HIS steadfast rescue — saves you from the stormy waves surrounding.

Then! Without doubt, my friends, HE will secure you for tomorrow as well.

So cling to HIS WORD daily till HIS call draws us swirling upwards… and safely onto Heaven’s shores!

8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.

9 HE will not always strive with us, nor will HE keep HIS anger forever.

10 HE has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities.

11 For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is HIS mercy toward those who fear HIM;

12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has HE removed our transgressions from us!

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

Amen and amen!
