Psalm 29:4 “The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty!”
HIS Victory’s Voice!
Narrowing streets,
closing of doors…
heightening Fear,
Chaos released.
Tightening chains,
camouflaged steps
freedoms curtailed,
cut and dismissed.
Or so we’re told
such darkened lies,
spun without Truth
by its father…
…who knows us not!
But GOD WHO does
tells of bright streets
and opening doors!
There no Fear nor
Confusion stands.
CHRIST’s steps are
clear and Freedom
reigns!
So listen well to
HIS WORD penned;
“I have overcome!
The battle is won!”
and I’m coming…
AGAIN!”

Devotional: James 4:13-14 “Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”;
14 but you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.”
It’s a frequent occurrence sadly where we find ourselves entertaining “uncaptured” thoughts.
Given that this life is a vapor that comes and goes quickly, shouldn’t we rapidly capture every such wayward thought?
Whether momentarily or for lengthy days or more, still…listening to the wrong voice and following the wrong directions has a high price tag.
The Casting Crowns song was popularized by this line in the lyrics. “But the Voice of Truth tells me a different story!”
He tells this today and every day, doesn’t HE?
Continuing with their lyrics echoing GOD’s WORD, “The voice of truth says “Do not be afraid!”
So we must LISTEN, trust and obey HIS voice, amen?
“Out of all the voices calling out to me I will choose to listen and believe the voice of truth!”
We’ve won! So although this life is but a vapor, still we are privileged to live with highest zeal for HIS NAME!
Run then towards and always to HIS VOICE of Truth!
