Leather-Bound Lights!
The antique night
lantern still shines
through these storms.
Though these winds
feel relentless, though
tempest each gust.
Though the stinging
of sleet seems to
pierce through our
bodies…Still! HE is our
Refuge and Beacon.
Our paths filled by
LIGHT, lead us on in
HIS steps. Still! Rough,
blunt force gales try to
block every progress.
By opposing our
hearts’ with their most
spiteful treatment,
such foes think their
victory is certain!
But GOD’s anchor
holds in the midst of
such waters: HIS
strength is unmatched
and HE conquers all
seas!
Therefore! Cling to
your leather-bound
lanterns with Zeal…
boldly spreading HIS
light over all!
