2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is GOD breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness…”
Assumption-less Priming

Waiting for Silence to be shattered betrays one’s fears or their anger — most pressing.
Aggressor or Victim mentality based; so some choose from just one or the other.
Then traveling these to the furthest degree so are made each extreme’s “bad example”.
Without redirection, so both lead off course. What choice then meets with Best’s correction?
It’s when one’s alignment with Silence remains without any of Self’s expectations.
Then Waiting finds such souls reflecting GOD’s grace…never “priming the pump” with assumptions.
As HIServant studying daily and quietly to learn best from
HIS WORD,

Devotional: Proverbs 16:20 “Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD.”

Proverbs 17:27 “The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered.”
Steven Covey wrote a book called “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”. In in he popularized this negative reality.
He said that many people “just listen with the intent to respond.”
Unwilling to grasp the content or purpose of the conversation, such people in the business world are singularly focused — internally.
As such, their assumptions drive their speech and Truth becomes irrelevant to them in favor of their own personal opinion.
There’s no business Bible of ethics which anyone agrees on.
However, with the WORD of GOD, we thankfully DO have THE Bible which directs us!
When we put such GODly limitations on our speech, then we’re quietly reflecting a “learning posture”.
Proverbs 10:17 “Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.”
So note to Self: Let’s each start with our own “Self” every morning to study HIS WORD and leave our assumptions behind.
Then we’ll be able to hear what GOD’s clearly saying to us without the fleshly filter and needless obstacle of personal opinion.
Again, note to Self. Amen and amen.
