These bodies which house our souls are fatigued by bumps and bruises.
Some have breaks yet also blessings for our rest in YOUR embrace!
For! YOU devour every weakened foe demanding that we cower.
But LORD, YOU only hold us! Yea! Alone YOUR pow’r upholds us/!
So whether bloodied, bruised or bludgeoned, let us boldly stand…
in CHRIST!
